You have made the decision to contact me either by phone or email to inquiry about a new website and my web design services. I will educate you on my pricing structure based on your needs to determine if I’m a good fit and if I can serve you well.
We have either already met to discuss your project or I will contact you to set up your free initial design consultation. This is where we meet in-person or by video conference. In this meeting, I will be able to answer your questions, educate you on my services and pricing structure based on your needs. This is to determine if I’m a good fit and if I can serve you well. If so, I will email my Proposal & Scope of Work.
After our Initial Design Consultation, I will email you a PDF of my brochure which will provide more information about Donna Halme Designs and Squarespace which is the platform I use to create my client’s websites.
Once my Proposal is received, you are encouraged to look it over carefully. The Proposal will outline what you will receive with my services and the cost. It will also outline a payment schedule. If you agree to the Proposal & Scope of Work, I will then email my Web Design Contract for Services via HelloSign for our signatures.
When you receive my Web Design Contract for Services via HelloSign for our signatures, you are encouraged to look it over carefully. If you accept the contract, you will need to sign it and then you will receive a copy once all signatures have been completed. I will also setup and place this and all previous and future documents in our Google Drive private shared file. Once my Web Design Contract for Services is signed with both our signatures, a retainer is requested and collected called the “First Initial Deposit”.
I will request, once the contract is signed with both our signatures, a retainer is collected which is the First Initial Deposit 50% of the total cost of the estimate or proposal. This will then reserve you into my schedule to begin the design process.
Since aesthetics and preferences change over time, you are always welcome to during the design process to contact me via email, text, or video conference. During these discussions, we will discuss the aesthetics, logistics, and details of your design. I want to make sure that you walk away with an idea of how your website design will display and function before going further with the design process and launch day.
We will have either completed this questionnaire or I will provide you a link to my Brand & Website Questionnaire which will be sent to you via email or you can find it on my website. This questionnaire is required by you and is designed to help me understand your goals, needs and style. Please fill it out with all the information you have so far and submit back to me. I will look over the details and contact you for a quick chat to clarify your design needs and budget.
